
Dan has over thirty-five years of financial management and advisory experience. He started his career in public accounting and worked for three publicly traded NYSE companies before becoming a personal financial advisor. Dan's tax, M&A, strategic planning, leasing and capital markets experience provides a unique perspective to help clients.

Dan grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State University, and his Master of Science in Taxation degree from Georgetown University. He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant from 1982 through 1987 and now holds the Series 7 FINRA General Securities Representative and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Examination. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC and holds Florida and Illinois life and health insurance licenses. He is also securities licensed in several states.
Dan and his wife, Nancy, have three grown children: Lauren, Margaret and Peter. Dan and Nancy lived in Dallas and Washington D.C., before moving to Western Springs in 1986. Dan and Nancy enjoy every minute they can with their kids and grandkids, playing golf and pickleball, volunteering, and traveling with family and friends.
